WELCOME TO ADHS!!
This is going to be a very exciting year. Together we are embarking on something new - a grades 7 to 12 modelled school. We are going to have a lot of fun while learning. Below you will find the contact information you may require for this school year.
Welcome to our class web page for the 2014 - 2015 school year. You can click on each page to find copies of the classroom newsletters and calendars, school work information, snow day information, and extra curricular information.
Let me know what you think of this site. I will post any rubrics you request in the homework section.
This is a great way for you to find out what is happening in class each week, and hopefully reduce the number of papers that I have to send home with you with regards to newsletters and calendars.

Below is the are two new drafts of our classroom timetable. There are two, because we are doing a two week cycle like the high school, so there are some difference in the afternoons. You will notice that there are four Phys. Ed. classes a week and one health period.

ADHS Dress Code - Amended
In creating a positive atmosphere, dress and appearance play an important role in both school and in life. Certain standards of dress and appearance are expected for the business of attending school just as certain standards are acceptable for other activities. Your appearance reflects your good judgment and respect for yourself and others. You should be dressed for a place of work.
Students are expected to be neat and clean in appearance. As such, the following are considered inappropriate:
Clothing with profanity, revealing holes, inappropriate images, suggestive or unacceptable comments and logos.
Clothing that reveals undergarments.
Tops that expose the navel (tops must meet bottoms).
Tube tops or low cut tops.
Hats, caps and hoods (excluding religious head wear) are to be removed upon entering each classroom (at the discretion of each classroom teacher), School Offices and the Gym for presentations.
Some sort of footwear must be worn at all times, both inside the school and on the school grounds.
All clothing must be worn in an appropriate manner.
Since this list of items is not all-inclusive, the administration will make the final determination on appropriate clothing worn.
Consequences for Non- Compliance
Non-compliance with any of the above mentioned dress code would result in:
1. a verbal warning
2. asked to change into acceptable
clothing
3. a letter sent home (parents contacted)
4. referral to Administration (Principal or Vice Principal)
